Privacy Policy

What stays on your device

Your check-ins — whether you drank, your streak, money saved — are stored only on your device. They are never uploaded to our servers. If you delete the app, they are gone. We can’t recover them, because we never had them.

What we do collect

• An anonymous account ID. Created automatically so you can use the group chat. It is not linked to your name, email, or phone number.
• Your posts and reactions in the group chat, visible to other users under the handle you choose.
• Subscription status via Apple and RevenueCat, so damp+ works. Payment details are handled by Apple; we never see your card.

What we don’t do

• No ads, no ad trackers, no analytics SDKs that profile you.
• No selling or sharing data with data brokers.
• No reading your contacts, location, camera, microphone, or photos — the app doesn’t even request those permissions.

Moderation

Posts you report are reviewed by our team. Posts reported by multiple users are hidden automatically pending review.

Deleting your account

Settings → delete my account removes your profile, posts, and reactions from our servers permanently. Local data is deleted when you delete the app.

Children

damp. is intended for adults of legal drinking age and is rated 17+. It is not directed to children.

Changes

We’ll post changes on this page and flag material changes in the app.
